Create a cozy bedroom master suite from an unfinished attic space in Beachwood, Ohio.
The Problem
Like many bungalow-style Beachwood homes of its era, this house had an as-yet unfinished second floor. Creating a master suite would add additional square footage of second-floor living space.
The solution
RBL cut open the roof to add a dormer bump-out for additional space; installed a king-size skylight to provide much-needed natural light; built a custom walk-in closet and adjoining master bath with custom fixtures and storage.
